Mike Frederiqo, young artist from The Netherlands, Born in 1991,From the time he was able to hold an pencil, Mike was drawing and painting.
At a young age starting as tattoo artist and doing some graffiti on the side. But his focus is now more on illustrations and design. His first project is Bapes soup, based on Andy Warhol’s Campbell’s soup. After that he created the Sponge Series inspirate by the cartoon spongebob.
The illustrations have been on almost on every fashion-and personalblogs (Marc Jacobs, Pharrell Williams) and magazines like VOGUE, Cosmopolitan, Grazia , ELLE, and many more.
After the question from colette to do the illustrations on t-shirts is Colette in Paris the first store that sold the t-shirts.
The shirts showcase famous people such as Coco Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, Terry Richardson, Pharrell Williams and Takashi Murakami.
The tees are now available at select boutiques including Colette.
And every month Mike Frederiqo will be releasing two new illustrations.
